Whew…man the truth hurts!

Well Friends the weekend is over. I always like Mondays. Mondays to me are a new start and I am back on track. My daughter joined medical weight loss plan which is good for her but expensive products…we will supplement the Designer Whey Products instead of the medical weight loss powders to help the cost. My daughter is almost 16 and about 30 pounds over weight. The hardest part for me, as mom, is she told the counselor that the reason she wanted to lose weight was because she did not want to suffer like her mom…that is a real deal down in the gut painful thing to hear. My daughter is worried she will be look like me…fat! And at this stage that is not the prettiest thing standing on this earth…that is going to change! I want my daughters, all 3 of them, to say they want to be just like mom…healthy, fit, strong and cute too.

On My Whey!

Maybe it’s not that she’s worried she will look “fat” like you… but that she doesn’t want to suffer health consequences of unhealthy eating. You can be a good example to her. It’s obvious as hell she loves you or she wouldn’t have told her counselor what she did…

    Huggggggggggggggs,

Your daughter obviously cares about you. No-one wants to suffer ill health because of their weight, and you are only 40, and if she has seen you experiencing problems, she probably wants to avoid that. The whey diet is a temporary fix and she’ll need to maintain the weight loss after she sheds the pounds. That will partly be down to you.

From your own weight loss, you must be working towards a healthy lifestyle, that will include cooking healthy meals and making good food and recreational choices for your family. That will help all of you keep your weight within a healthy level.

You’ve lost quite a bit, so you will be an excellent role model for your children if you adhere to your new healthy lifestyle for the whole family.

Well done on your progress so far.

Well, girl..theres different kind of suffering..mentally, and physically. I am sure your daughter didnt mean to hurt you by saying that…but, the good news…she’s watching you…paying attention and your losing weight and doing good…sounds like she’s going to take after you in getting healthy…now that is awesome.
I was hoping to inspire my daughter…but she nags me…thats not enough food for Leanna (5 yr old niece lol). I explain I eat 3 meals..if i get hungry i will eat and i’m doing fine. I am really hoping to inspire my daughter and hubby….anyway..good luck! Debbie
